After reading this post...I was thinking...I'm not sure if I mentioned this before or not....but my wife has created a Facebook group just for Caregivers.
Since my TM started she has been on many of the websites and message boards to try and understand better what we TMr's go through...and many of us need someone to either give care pretty much full time or at the least to help with some basic things that we can no longer do. I do appreciate all of the things that she does for me...but my wife realized that there are many caregivers out there that get no appreciation or support for all they go through. I know that even though I appreciate her, she still has to deal with me and my moods sometimes, and she didn't have anywhere to go if she wanted to vent about something. So, she created the Facebook group recently. If any of you know a caregiver that might be in the same boat..and is looking for a place to vent, cry, laugh...etc.. pass this on to them.. Her group.. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=31850848603 She is also looking into starting a local meeting group for caregivers. If I did mention this before...sorry...I blame it on the TM and the meds. You are right that it is important as a caregiver to go to support meetings. It gives one a much clearer knowledge of the effects of TM. Not to mention, you meet the greatest people! ________________________________ One site has it all. Your email accounts, your social networks, and the things you love. Try the new AOL.com today!
