THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE UPDATE ON JUDE. I WAS OUT OF TOWN ALL LAST WEEK
SO I WASN'T ABLE TO CHECK MY E-MAILS. I GOT BACK LAST NIGHT AND THE FIRST
THING I DID WAS GO ON MY E-MAIL. I AM SO HAPPY SHE IS DOING SO WELL. I
HOPE AND PRAY IT WILL CONTINUE. KEEP US INFORMED AND LET US KNOW WHEN SHE
IS ABLE TO CHECK HER E-MAILS.

AS I SAID I WAS OUT OF TOWN AND IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I WAS AWAY FROM HOME
SINCE TM CAME TO STAY. I WAS VERY NERVIOUS BUT EVERYTHING WORKED OUT. MY
DAUGHTER AND MY 2 GRANDDAUGHTERS AND I WENT TO THE MALL OF AMERICA FOR THEIR
SPRING BREAK. I AM ABLE TO WALK WITH A WALKER BUT THERE WAS NO WAY I
WOULDD WALK THE MALL. SOMETIME AGO, I DECIDED TO PURCHASE AN ELECTRIC
SCOOTER AND IT WAS WONDERFUL. I FELT LIKE A HUMAN AGAIN. NOW I AM WAITING
TO SEE IF MY INSURANCE WILL PAY A PART OF IT. IF NOT, I WILL FOOT THE BILL
SO I CAN HAVE A LIFE AGAIN.

THANKS AGAIN AND I WILL WAIT TO HEAR HOW JUDE IS DOING.

Subject: [TMIC] Visit with Jude and Dave

I had a nice visit Jude and Dave today. Jude looked real good, was propped
up in bed, eating her lunch, talkative, laughing, and thanks everyone for
their prayers.
She surprised me. Dave said he was also surprised to see her so alert.
Jude said she didn't have any pain and was happy with the meds they were
giving her and was positive that the "expensive" mattress they had her on
was working. The mattress was water filled and continuously moved and was
very impressive.

Jude is counting the days until she can go home (seven to ten days makes it
Friday to Monday) and hopes it might be even sooner. She said they are
checking her continuously and she is currently infection free. (Answered
Prayers) The only snag in the process so far is that the doctor didn't
answer when she asked him how soon she could sit in a wheelchair. One
"incision" still has the drainage tube while the other is dressing free.
(Dave showed me a picture of that one.) Wow, in our town they have problems
with the high-school kids and their inappropriate cell-phone pictures. It's
a good thing we adults aren't in school - Dave would have been expelled!

Jude is ready for phone calls and said I could post her hospital room phone
number. 810-342-3482

It was so nice to have this visit with them today. Thanks to all of you for
your support,

Blessings,
Patti - Michigan
