I just found out through Gilly that our sweet, spitfire, Pam died. I was
not subscribed to this site, but just read through all the archives to find
out what happened. I am now re-subscribed. I decided I can't afford to
miss out on the daily lives of our friends.
First and foremost, she was ALWAYS an inspiration to me as well as all of
you. She always had a positive attitude and could lift you up with her wings
when you were down on the ground. She was such a very selfLESS person.
She was so very dedicated to Dan and their family. When her family left
after Katrina, a little part of her left along with them. But, her heart
and soul always and forever remains in New Orleans and Slidell.
Recently, I opened up the recipe book of fellow TM'er's recipes. If you
have one, do yourself a favor and "read" all of Pam's recipes. I can hear
her voice when I read those recipes! I was reading them to Terry a month
or so back just to "hear" her voice. It's her own dialogue within those
recipes. ( I actually was crying while writing this up until I thought of
her recipes). This brings happy thoughts to mind about Pam. Now, I have to
MAKE some of her delicious recipes.
She was always gracious and complimentary to me about my role in Terry's
life, my families life, and TM's life. That's because she was a gracious
person, a thoughtful and caring person. And she knew I love New Orleans and
everything about it!
Primarily because of Pam, we were so very informed about Jude. Pam did
love her computer, didn't she? She kept us all informed about anyone and was
always on a quest to inform the world about TM and it's perils...
Dan, she let the world know that you were the greatest husband in the
world! I am so very sorry for your loss. Please remember that we all will
have a little piece of our heart dedicated to your loving, sweet wife...
Our sweet little Southern Belle, Pammie.
TIAD,
Sandy Parker
