MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE A MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLAN THROUGH BLUE CROSS. IT
WORKS THE SAME AS MEDICARE. YOUR MEDICARE PART A IS STILL DEDUCTED FROM
YOUR S.S. CHECK BUT IT GOES TO BLUE CROSS EACH MONTH. WE PAY NO MONTHLY
PREMIUM JUST A CO-PAY OF $20.00 WHEN YOU SEE YOUR DOC AND $25.00 CO-PAY WHEN
YOU SEE A SPECIALIST. WHEN I CAME DOWN WITH TM LAST YEAR AND SPENT 6 WEEKS
IN THE HOSPITAL, ALL I PAID WAS $200.00 PLUS $50.00 FOR THE AMBULANCE WHEN I
FIRST GOT SICK. I ALSO HAVE PRESCRIPTION INSURANCE AND FORTUNATELY MY MED
BILLS ARE NOT TOO BAD AND I HAVE NEVER REACHED THE DONUT HOLE. ALSO, I WAS
ABLE TO DECIDE WHAT TYPE OF TREATMENT I WOULD RECEIVE NOT THE INSURANCE
COMPANY OR THE GOVERNMENT. I REALIZE THOSE WHO ARE TOO YOUNG FOR MEDICARE
HAVE A HARDER TIME. THE COST OF GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE HAS TO BE PAID BY
SOMEONE WHICH MEANS HIGHER TAXES. WITH THE STIMULOUS AND SO MANY PEOPLE OUT
OF WORK, WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING TO COME FROM TO PAY FOR THIS PROGRAM?
THIS COUNTRY IS GOING TO GO BANKRUPT IF THEY CONTINUE DOWN THIS PATH. I
REALIZE CHANGE IS NEEDED BUT WHY NOT TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE SURE WE DO THE
RIGHT THING FOR US ALL.

While in rehab for TM the pipes burst in my home. Insurance fought
me-- saying I was non resident.
Fortunately the outrageous heating bill proved that the house was
maintained. Anyway, the insurer
dropped me though it was my first and only claim in 14 years! So I agree.
