Hello Team Hammond, It is so good to hear from you. Like Patti I have been concerned that we hadn't received a recent update. Thank you for keeping us in the loop - we really do need to know how you are doing. You are in my prayers as you meet with your doctor this next week. How wonderful that the kids got the tree and put up the lights! A great way to get into the Christmas spirit. Please know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers. Almost 5 weeks since my last radiation treatment and the mouth is still raw as ever. I don't know how much longer the whole healing process will take, but at the present rate I'm hoping soon. The last round of chemo was a lot easier than the first two and I did not have to go to the hospital which made it much easier on everyone. My next round of chemo starts next Tuesday, December 8, lasts from10:30 - 2 or 3 pm. Wednesday & Thursday last only 2 hours, each from about 2 until 3pm. We meet with the Doctor next week also, so hopefully can get some answers to prognosis and how many more chemo sessions will be needed. Team Hammond had a great family Thanksgiving with the kids and cousins Sally and her husband Bob from Coeur d'Alene. The kids got a Christmas tree for us and some lights up outside, so it is seems a lot more like the Christmas season to us. I do not know when our next update will be coming out, and because my vision is still affected, we would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very blessed and peaceful Christmas with your families.
