Hey there,
I do the same with my Segway. I drive it through security- usually they ask me to sit on a chair ( while one of the agents tries the segway out)- then to the boarding area where I take the segway apart and they put underneath with the wheelcairs and baby buggies. At the other end, I'm usually the last out so have plenty of time to put it together (1 minute) then speed off passing most of the passengers. Many airport security agencies use segways, especially in the big airports, so know all about them. They try it out, because if it works there is almost no place to put a bomb, other than in the vertical shaft, but that has been checked only two or three times! F
