I'm here too? I reduced my Cymbalta by 30 mg in December for a few reasons. 1. I didn't want to drive the 70 mile round trip for samples. 2. I didn't want to pay full price at the pharmacy. 3. I wasn't feeling bad, but I also wasn't feeling good - just kind of unemotional
I stopped my remaining 60mg of Cymbalta for four whole days, because I didn't have any side effects from the 30mg reduction. I didn't feel any change in my "mood", but the pain increase was intolerable. I took a 60mg pill on the fifth morning and I now know how much pain relief I get from it. I have a quarterly doctor appointment and plan on telling him about the 30mg reduction. I'm undecided about mentioning my four day blunder. Yes, I had a couple of physical effects besides the pain increase. I'll never try that again, however, I might try to ween off in the summer with my doctor's help. (My family knew, but wasn't happy with my little trial.) That's what I've been up to! Patti - Michigan
