Well, they're on the road now and about 160 miles east of Memphis, via an
alternate route as
I-40 is still flooded here and there. All is well, they say.

Well, I've talked to her already this morning and yes, it's worse than we
thought. Many roads are flooded and it looks like they're gonna be stuck
there at least thru today.

I'll keep y'all posted on developments.

    Bobby jim,
Please tell her to take good care of herself and quit having "adventures"!
I miss her emails, but probably now is not the best time
    to bug her about it!

As y'all know, Barbara Alma and her hubby are on a cross country tour and
are now heading back to the West Coast, except.......:

dem dang torrencial rains we've been having here abouts in these past
threee dayze have made a big lake out of I-40 west of Nashville, so now, on
their way to Memphis, they're having to spend tonight in a shelter at mile
marker 197. And that means 197 miles east of Memphis.
The policeman they were takling to earlier had to go out on a boat to
rescue those stranded in the water. So much for a visit to Graceland
tomorrow morning.

    oh well

But she asked me to tell y'all that they're both well, dry, with a place to
spend the night, and a whole bunch more of stranded travellers to keep them
company.

I'll be talking to her again tomorrow morning, and report afterwards.

Bobby Jim in wet soggy Elvisland, nope we got no tornadoes, not this time.
