So them two made it into Memphis all in one piece about 4 PM yesterday. I met them about 2 hours later and had supper with them at a nearby hamburger joint, one I've been to more than once before. Not bad.
It was fun meeting dem two roaddies.... with her scooter strapped to the back of the van and them both comfortably settled inside this very nice Toyota van. Much much nicer'n my olde Dodge van. (no, they wouldn't swap) After having spent Sunday night in a shelter full of stranded travellers near Nashville, they were both ready for a good night's sleep and then on to Graceland and a river boat tour later on that day.
