Hi, everyone, I would like to give you an update on what is happening. Last week I received the results of both my latest PET scan and CAT scan. I am now considered to be in remission. Yahoo!!. All of the prayers that you offered were heard. Now, I can look forward to putting my energy into getting better. I am now volunteering once a week at the Cancer Center where I received treatment. Now, it is as a worker for the American Cancer Society working with new patients. When you have "Been there, done that", it is much easier to talk to someone about their concerns or questions. I am contemplating some other volunteer activities and also some work with my last employer as a volunteer.
I do not have any more tests for several months, but will keep you informed of any changes. On behalf of all of "Team Hammond" (Mike, Jill, Joel and Janel) I want to thank you for your thoughts, prayers, emails, calls and cards, they all meant a great deal to us.
