"Tingling" is, I believe, a large part of TM. Mine, after over 4 years, has settled down somewhat. Don't know if that is because of meds or TM is less tingly. I feel it from my rear to me toes. Who knows about the nerves waking up - you never know. Improvements can come at any time, even well past the 2 year mark. To answer your question, no I have never had steroids after the 2-year mark.
