hypnosis sounds pretty cool as long as it doesn't take me back to the time i was a paperboy being chased by the crazy dog!

My pain never really goes away unless I add a couple shots of Bourbon or other high test drinks. I am able to keep my pain at #2 or 3 with meds. What really helps is meditation (self hypnosis). I usually listen to quiet classical music, close my eyes and take myself away to some secluded beach in the Exuma chain of islands. My pain will get as low as #1. I am told that there are CD's in which guided imagery is used to take you into self hypnosis. I hope this helps. F
