John,  when my blood test showed less than 1/2 of normal levels, my dr. put me
on the 50,000 per week but also advised that I take at least 2,000 IU daily.
That resulted in an increase from 14 to 18 blood levels.

I've been taking10,000 U daily and am able to keep levels at 30.

So, I guess I'm saying I think that a constant supply is better than 1 high
dose.

Talk to your doctor.

Great article and I can say I feel so much better taking my 2000 UI a day!
Everything works better and I mean everything!
