it  has been quiet. John, sorry to hear about this. I agree with Emily about 
seeing a physiatrist - this could possibly prolong the "retirement" - it's 
never easy when it's not our idea.  went through that myself.  On a more 
positive note, I have been back in PT this last year - this time aqua therapy.  
what a change! have you tried it yet?
