i was fortunate to be diagnosed with TM withen 5 minutes of my encounter with
neurologist at ER.

however thats about as far as it went.

you have TM,,,sorry about your luck.

some of the symptoms i have developed in the past year alone makes me wonder
about other things like MS.

havent done any reasearch myself,,seen way more than i want,,but seams like we
would be looked at more than we are without having to beg or demand, especially
if you have good insurance.

oh,,,forgot that ins co was dictating care these days,,,,,my bad.

I don't recall how many of us went to the first symposium in Seattle but,
after talking to Marshall about Doc Pomus, I found and article on him, and a
photo also of him in a wheel chair. The more I studied the photo of him and the
chair, I noticed something that really isn't that unusual but, Doc had full
mobility of his upper body. Then I recalled listening to Doug Kerr, Dr. Irani
and others from all over the world discussing FDR. Lori Biehler might remember
this also. They said FDR was diagnosed with Polio as was Doc, but they then
decided it wasn't Polio at all but TM that the President had. I'm wondering if
Doc wasn't misdiagnosed too. I say that because TM is so hard to diagnose that
anyone who presents with our symptoms could easily be diagnosed with Polio.
Now, your lookin back 60 some years, and they didn't have the diagnostic skills
that they do today. Plus, a lot of people, by the way  they were taught to
think, took Dr's. at their
 word. Hmmmm, food for thought.
