Happy Thanksgiving Pam,In my case the EMG was the test that my neurologist ultimately diagnosed my TM with. He said he couldn't see the lesion in the MRI, but he could see a slowing of nerve conduction in the EMG. So I'd have to say the EMG correlates 100 percent with my pain and numbness. Hope that helps.
