I may well have, but I don't "feel" in a way to let me know.
I used to do yoga daily until TM and though paralyzed
I still do daily touching in bed and stomach on thighs stretches.
I remember reaching over my toes while in the hospital and the
the pt person saying-- just because you can't feel-- doesn't mean
you should do that-- and i asked if other persons who couldn't
feel could do that --- and he didn't think so-- and i told him that
this is what I was used to doing --- i used to be able to place my
palms on the floor
without bending my knees.....
I cannot get my legs to bend into lotus, but i fold and unfold them
and bend my feet back and forth daily.....
if you have upper body -- ask your pt about what you can do to
stretch and gently flex on your own between sessions.
