Kevin I was put on gabapentin two weeks ago. My doctor prescribed 300mg
once a day. I take it at night. The only affect I have noticed is that it
makes me sleep good at night. But I noticed that if I take it later at
night, I am a little groggy in the a.m., so I take it earlier in the
evening. My doctor did say that the dosage may have to be increased. He
prescribed it for the burning/freezing pain in my feet, and I have not
noticed any improvement in reducing it. I know some in here take much
higher dosages, some even over 2,000 mg a day. I go back to the doctor
after he holidays and he may prescribed a higher dosage, but many in here
have stopped taking it because it did not do any good.

Subject: [TMIC] Gabapentin

My new doctor visited me today. I asked him again about Gabapentin and he
is going to start me on 100mg 3 times a day. For those who take this, I
would
like to hear how you did on it. I realize it's a low dosage.

Thanks,
Kevin
