I sure can; I have been taking Lyrica for 16 months now, and the stuff works. When I tried cutting backfeeling that I must have turned some kind of cornerit took about two days until all the old fire and needles came back.
My Neuro tells me that around 300 2x/day is about the limit of its effectiveness, but it takes about two weeks for it to reach its optimal efficiency of use in the body; and that taking more doesn't really offer more relief. My guess is that it all depends on the size of the human being. But my Neuro is Indian and probably 150 lbs. For non-Asians, it could be that the dosage might be larger. I have taken more than 600/day on a need-basis, when I am having a particularly bad day, or about to take a plane trip somewhere, or are getting seizures and contractions, and have noticed increased relief for that brief time. But I am fighting pseudo-seizures, as well. These are non-epileptic seizures that act the same wayand also take anti-seizure medications. For Lyrica I have not read anything about overdosing. So, if you are around 200 lbsand believe me, if you aren't that weight now, you soon will be, on Lyrica!--you could maybe benefit from a larger dose. Now, question for you: This stuff is expensive! How can you get it for less?--because I am returning to New York City for the summer and will need a supply over there, since I will have no insurance while in NYC. Thanks, Dalton Dalton H. I slowly reached a point where at 150 mg, three times a day (450mg total) I can see some improvement. The spasms are smaller and the pins and needles or vibrating is less. My question is how high a dosage can I go? I can't afford to see a DR to get a prescription as it costs $250.00 to walk in the door so I use a black market/no prescription necessary route to get my medications. I've looked on line for dosages and it looks like I am at the max now. Can anyone give me some advise?
