SSDI; I hear that it takes 24 months to get on SSDI. I am 63 this past April; in 24 months I will be 65, and in another 8 months will be at full retirement age of 66.
I certainly am now really disabled, thanks to these frequent and randomly occurring attacks that leave me helpless. Will SSDI give me benefits I have not counted? If you know something that would help me, I would be happy to hear of it, because it is now clear that I am totally disabled as far as being a working stiff is concerned.
