Dalton and Patti;Years ago I had a pain management doctor tell me neurontin, or
gabapentin, could cause hip and muscle pain and stiffness in some people. So
does TM though apparently. Lyrica is pregabalin. It's a med developed with a
few changes from gabapentin. They have a lot of similarities. Lyrica and
Cymbalta can bother diabetes, though. I thought we all had some of this
stiffness and discomfort especially after being in a still position. I can
stay in one position for long without stuff going stiff and spasmy on me. I
have to make some kind of move or get up. I get around, just have a lot of
fatigue and weakness, but if I were to sit for long, I would have the same
problem. So how would we know what is a side effect from med or from the
''problem". Patti; did you know I was in Kalamazoo when i first came down with
this? I read somewhere that MS was pretty frequent in the area? Pam

Subject: [TMIC] Lyrica - muscle stffness

Dalton
You mentioned that you have muscle stffness when rising from a chair n the same
post you when you said you are now taking Lyrica instead of gabapentin. I
think I remember that as being a possible side-effect, but shrugged it off,
because it would not stop me from taking Lyrica for the pain. Were you blaming
the muscle stiffness directly on the Lyrica or was I reading something into
your comment?
