I don't which I am more afraid of the flu shot or its effects.  My neurologist
said to never receive another immunization of any kind every - that it would
aggravate my TM & make it worse.  I also worry about shingles & ask about the
shot for that & was told no.  I am pretty much a hermit during flu season.
Everyone knows not to come around me with any kind of cold symptoms any time of
the year.

Dalton,
I hope this is a short-term problem for you and the pain subsides soon.  Thanks
for the info and keep us informed. I was planning on getting one this year,
because I had no adverse reaction to the shot last year.  It was my first shot
since TM.  We had five deaths in our area last year and I turned chicken and
got the shot.

contain it. My body is in a constant state of nerve pain and physical
anxiety. I have increased the dosage of both Lyrica and Gabapentin.
Hopefully, this is not a new normal; but if it is, then I have made a
big mistake in getting a flu shot.

living in New York City and taking the subway and other forms of public
transportation, and having to use hand-holds all over the City, I
thought it prudent to get the flu shot. It may still be the right move,
but at this reckoning has come at a high cost, that of being in a
distracting level of pain all the time now, just as I was during the
early days of the disease.
