truly my last post about this topic, tokk, i promise. << I take it you can't do much but walk around the house huh. >>
actually, i can do everything except mowing the lawn (ha!) and carrying heavy stuff. ah, no lawnmowing for the next 6 months. 8) << Just out of curiousity, why did you need the surgery? If you don't mind me asking that is... If you'd rather not say, I don't think we'll hold it against you. ;) (knowing me, it was prolly in a post i deleted a hundred years ago) But, whatever the reason, I hope there isn't any more danger from it. >> i had a problem with one of my heart valves. the thing didn't open all the way, but i've lived 20 years with it and it never restricted me that much. last year, when i went to my cardiologist for the annual routine check-up, he broke the news to me that i might have to undergo surgery because it had gotten worse. this year, it had gotten *way* worse, and so he decided it was time for the op. now i have a metallic valve replacement that is ticking & clicking & sometimes squeaking. yes, it's really ticking, but not very loud. i can still play hide&seek. :) :) :) thank gog. -javvi
