saw Moulin Rouge, GW??? Sheesh, I've seen it like at least 30 times

~Ok, so I live in a cave... the
truth is by the time hubby and two or three kids have picked out
videos I'm thinking money and decide to see *my* movie "next
time"...it's a mom-thing....
But, you know that movie just
shows how great of an actor Ewan McGregor is. A lot of people have
only taken notice of him after playing Obi Wan, but I've been
watching his movies since Shallow Grave... he's a VERY versatile
actor (with an awesome voice -- he likes to sing in his other roles
too).
~I had a hard time convincing the 6-year old that was Obi
Wan.  But,
oh my, that first duet they sing on the roof top... I realized I
hadn't seen a good romantic musical in *ages*. ANY decent musical! I
think I was in tears from about that point forward....
Nicole Kidman blew my mind in the role of Satine too...
GREAT actress!
~She really can act. And I think her beauty gets in the way
of people noticing that. She did an awesome job in "To Die For",
also.
But as for McGregor... that scene where he just
lets out that heart-wrenching sob, crew members had to leave the set
because they couldn't stand all that emotion.
~That about did it for
me...gawd...
That's one bad ass actor right there.
~Terminally cute smile, too.
