Ok...I know you've all been chomping at the bit to
know how my day went Saturday...Ok...enough of the
self-delusions...
Well, I took my nephew {13-year-old} to his first
con...we saw lots of stuff over our heads...but it was
an enjoyable time...he picked up a Neon Genesis action
figure. I got 3 TMNT posters...one of them is from
the first movie...I also got some TMNT comics...a
couple Archie and Image that I didn't have...woohoo
issue 22 with Raph and Pimiko duking it out...
Some of the goodies for showing up were a couple
heroclix {Spiderman and Batman} and a pack of Buffy
CCG cards...
I also happened across Gary Carlson who was there to
sign. {I do belive he's local...umm as in lives
around here...not spanish for crazy} So got to shake
hands and remind him when we met :)
Both of us confounded by Peter saying that image TMNT
didn't count, yet considered volume 3.
He mentioned Frank Fosco was there too...and though I
looked, we weren't successful...ok..so I didn't try so
hard...
but that was about all for our day...3 hours...and
can't wait for next year...
Saiman - who, for the record, his happier that it was
longer than an hour to spend money and leave, which
was last year....
