*snip* Speaking as a mom, it's nerve wracking even when it's your OWN child you have to watch!! :) I also know it's damn tough to get affordable child care..
Do what you feel best about girl, if you seriously think you'd have a problem watching the baby, let someone know.. I think the ones we should be mad at here are the people in the government!! Do you know how many single moms out there have a really hard time getting a job because they can't afford to pay a sitter? Almost all of their paychecks go just to daycare, because it's soooo expensive.. The government really needs to make childcare either 1) mandated, so people can't be charged an arm and a leg or 2) part of the system and make it free for everyone, so people can go out and work instead of being on welfare.. I bet it would be cheaper!! On a happier note, Alannah's going to be 2 in a couple weeks.. can you believe it?? I sure can't.. OHH!! And, I was at Wal Mart the other day, and a kid about, oh, 19 or so bought TMNT the DVD! Heehee, I was like "Nice choice!".. OK, enough babble, back to lurkerville :) Meg
