Well well... Pretty cool things to report here, even though they are a bit minor...
Last night, I finally got to see Y Tu Mama Tambien... A VERY good movie, you gotta see it (of course, it helps if you understand the way average Mexican guys are)... totally hilarious. Anyway, during the movie, Tenoch's cousin Jano -- who hasn't seen Tenoch in quite a few years -- tells Tenoch that the last time he saw him, Tenoch was in mourning. JANO: You were mourning a Ninja Turtle, weren't you? TENOCH: No... It was a Thunder Cat! hehehe... Anyway, today, my family and I went to eat lunch at Los Asados (a local Mexican restaurant). As we walked in, I checked out the UFO Catcher crane game machine, which imprisoned a Donatello plushie last time I'd been there... It was still there. But at the VERY bottom. As we discussed the best course of action for retrieval, my sister's fiancee mentioned that yesterday he was at school and saw a classmate's backpack full of Ninja Turtles... The guy had won them from the crane machine in the Student Center. Ryan told him that he knew a guy who would buy them off of him (that'd be me). But the guy said, "No way! My brother collects these things!" So we sat down to eat, and after our meal, we began walking out. As we passed this lady sitting at a booth, my sister spotted the girl's purse... it was brimming with TMNT plushies!!! We were both totally amazed! So, I'm guessing that the TMNT really are coming back huh??? Woo hoo! I am so excited about this. Well, gotta go... thunder storm is hitting right now..... -Mikey QM
