Good evening. Everyone, please take your seats, the ceremony is about to begin.....     **The rest of the stage lights up to reveal four Turtles standing on either side of Green Faerie**   Don: Gah! Bright lights! Leo: Shh!        ~Welcome everyone to the Fourth Annual TMNT Fan Fiction Awards Ceremony. I want to thank everyone who has participated this year. Thanks also for everyone's patience as we battled through some unforeseeable delays.   Raph: (whispers to Mike) You think they're gonna buy this? Mike: Like they've got a choice?       ~In light of the extra time it has taken us to get the results back to everyone, an Executive Decision was reached that we would NOT be holding any tie-breaker votes. This decision was based in part upon the time issue-- we didn't want to run too badly over into the Fan Art Awards, nominations for which have already begun. The other deciding factor was that there had been SO many nominations in each category this year that we run the risk of needing to hold multiple tie-breaker votes, and frankly, I think everyone's patience might be near the breaking point.   Mike: I think she means she's afraid her windows were at the breaking point. Raph: I heard they were stockpiling mangoes over at the Technodrome. Mike: Uh oh....            ~Sooooo.... what this means is that in several categories there will be multiple winners. Sort of a win-win-win-win-win situation.....heh....   Raph: <chokes> Leo: Shh! Mike: <snickers>            ~Anyway, I am sure you all recognize the four fellows on stage with me here.
