Now, that I'm more awake, I went back and read the Overview again, finding something out.  If you'll notice where it says April's Antique Shop, it'll say she took over the family business after her father 'passed away.'  Well, in the original comics, she met the TMNT while he was still alive and explained he was put in a nursing home.  This was after Splinter was kidnapped so Leo understood how she felt.  Their father was also taken from them.  April's father dies while she's in California toward the end of the City At War which is waaaay far into the series.  With reading this Overview, it makes me wonder if my CAW dream of seeing it made into animation won't come true now.  :(  No?   Brinatello
