Donna... for some reason your e-mails are messin with my excite account... dunno why. But I can read em fine here. Your description of the 60s kitchen sounds a LOT like my bathroom. When I moved into the house (which was built in 1948), the bathroom obviously saw it's share of the passing eras... It was hexagonal, white linoleum flooring with seafoam green tiles all around and bright (yet dingy) yellow paint on the walls above the tile... BLEH.. So, I painted the walls very clean white, kept the green tiles and retiled the floor in ceramic charcoal gray tiles. It looks very nice. :D I'm happy with it. Of course, it matches with the old but decent looking chrome fixtures and 50s medicine cabinet. -Mikey QM, who went into debt thanks to house renovations...
