Hay.. it's Raph! There's a face we hardly see much of anymore either.

me say:
<<Actually, I get mixed feelings. I like what Laird is doing for
them, but since he has this habit of holding back huge chunks of info
in
the story line, while finally answering other things we had been
wondering about for ages, it feels like a wierd form of torture. Well,
to me it does! ;p >>

Raph:

Oh yeah.. that's another thing I've taken with a grain of salt too.
Lawson's style will always be like that though.. like he's the next
comicbook picasso.

But what gets me, is that his style has gotten worse, not better. His
turtles are still great... never had a problem drawing those guys. But
the humans... yeah. Looking back ont he City at War series, they
didn't look half bad. I really grown to look that style. Even Paleo
looked really great, art n inking wise. Unless... *modest grin*
Laird's inking style doesn't exactly compliment Lawson's pencils.

Yeah... there was that one superhero issue with Metal head and gang in
it I forgot about for a while there too. Then I decided how to guess
which past characters they bring back. If you consider all the comics
Laird and Lawson had a major influence on, it's very likely those story
lines are going to reappear again.

Yeah... and I blame it on the message boards too. They stole all the
attention! But there's a host of reborn/new fans there who don't know
about TMNT lists, or rather not bother with them.

To be honest, I'm not that much of a birthday party person either... I
just give the big chirrah to my closest friends, other wise not doing
much for the lesser know fans. *my bad*

But it was the thought that counts, Raph. You played your part out
well! And I thank you. :D
