Arghh! My sincerest apologies ..

I had this in my config:

bind -T root MouseUp1Pane run -b "tmux show-buffer | xsel -ip"

My intention was this:

# Left click in the pane followed after a region selection copies that to
the
# primary selection

Obviously that binding doesn't do "followed after a region selection"
part.. so each time I clicked on a pane, the latest tmux buffer got pushed
to primary.

I really appreciate you persisting through trying to help me.

That's what made me grep the ps to see when xsel processes are running..
and obviously I saw them running even when I wasn't copying anything from
anywhere..
