It seems that I can only programmatically fetch the cursor position
*before* leaving copy-mode with:
% tmux display -p '#{cursor_x},#{cursor_y}'
Once in copy mode, the value of cursor_x and cursor_y do not change, no
matter where my cursor is.
It's a little sad, the only state of the copy mode I'm able to fetch seems
to be the scroll position:
% tmux display -p '#{scroll_position}'
