Hello,
I faced with strange problems with my locale ru_RU.UTF-8 after commit
bcab77e266c. Before this commit or just reverting it I could use and see
Russian letters in a terminal, after that commit or if I don't revert it
I see strange letters as being taken from other codes. To me the commit
bcab77e266c is either wrong or incomplete.
Below two examples that I copy and paste from terminal emulator:
before the commit:
-------------------------------- 8< ------------------------------
echo 'Привет' | cat
Привет
echo 'Привет' | od
0000000 117720 100321 134320 131320 132720 101321 000012
0000015
-------------------------------- 8< ------------------------------
and after:
echo 'ÑÐÑ' | cat
ÐÑÐÐÐÑ
echo 'ÑÐÑ' | od
0000000 117720 100321 134320 131320 132720 101321 000012
0000015
-------------------------------- 8< ------------------------------
These strange symbols are shown when I typed the same commands.
Some info about my setup: outside tmux: terminal emulator
rxvt-unicode, TERM=rxvt-unicode-256color, within tmux
TERM=tmux-256color.
