I'm using tmux mostly across ssh on remote servers. So I have a limited
influence on which version of tmux I get.
Often it is still tmux 1.8, because that is whats available in epel.

The main reason I use mouse mouse is to get the scrollback wheel to see
stuff scrolled off the the screen.
But then I loose cut&paste as tmux takes over the mouse to do its own mouse
stuff on the entire screen.

Is there a way to get the scrollwheel only, but not the rest of the mouse
stuff ?

Is there a way to just disable the mark/cut/paste tmux in the terminal
area, so that I can use these features
of the native terminal I'm working in ?
