I have released tmux 2.9:

This release has a number of large changes, most notably:
- Window sizing has changed with a new command (resize-window) and new
options (window-size, default-size). The force-width and force-height
options have been removed.
- The long-undocumented -attr, -fg, -bg options have been removed,
except for one. Use -style instead.
- How the status line is constructed has changed, the options are the
same but they are referenced from a single status-format option. The
default colour for the entire status line now comes from status-style
rather than a different default for some options.
