I am using tmux on ArchLinux, I recently updated and it installed tmux-1.3.0-1 (from 1.2.something) and subsequently I can no longer start tmux and receive this error:
protocol version mismatch (client 6, server 5) The system has libevent 1.4+: $ pacman -Q libevent libevent 1.4.14b-1 I removed from the package manager and installed version 1.3 from sourceforge.net source download using standard ./configure --prefix=/usr/local and this problem still persists. Does anyone know what might be causing that and how I may rectify the situation?
