Ok, so maybe not today or tomorrow... but within the next couple of months, maybe?
I'm not actually that bothered myself, as I can live with the workaround for the moment. I just read that the fix would be in the next release, checked my package manager, saw that 1.4 wasn't available yet and wanted to be a good user and shepherd the fix into my distro. Stroller.
