I have a large terminal (200+ wide/80+ high) running tmux. Sometimse I have code that dumps large amounts of data, and things get pretty slow with the redrawing.
That part I'm OK with, but what's bothering me is that in screen, I could switch windows, and the busy window would update silently while I did other things. In tmux, trying to do that doesn't seem to work; it takes many seconds for the window switch to go through, apparently not until the window is done updating? -Robin -- http://singinst.org/ : Our last, best hope for a fantastic future.
