Hi You mean "pkill X", right? "pkill x" will kill tmux as well.
If so, you probably want to press C-F1 or whatever to get back to your running tmux session or do "tmux attach" to attach it to the current terminal. If you DO want to kill tmux as well, pkill tmux or tmux kill-server are fine.
