Gosh, no, I'm not offended. I care though that whilst some changes might affect more users than necessary, that we handle it appropriately. > If it makes things significantly simpler to have one define, I think I > would consider trimming bits from list-windows and force people to add > them back with -F rather than adding them to choose-windows. Heh. I did indeed. I suppose the wider point is that you're not going to please everybody, and that despite the change -- and that people are free to change it -- might seem like too much of a change for people who now have to edit their configuration files, etc. Ah well, we'll see. :) > But for now I'll apply your diff and if it is a bit wart on your next > change then we can think again? Oh, it shouldn't do. The caveat is that because it's a default it'll be used in more than one place, so if it needs curtailing or changing, etc., now's the time for it. I just didn't want people concentrating too much on these default values when they are technically free to change them, ironically something they weren't able to do before. :) -- Thomas Adam ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
