I've been configuring tmux for two days and it works pretty well, but
there's one thing that causes problems. After I switch to a virtual
console using ctrl+alt+f2 and enter the tmux mode, I create some panes
by typing ctrl+a+% or ctrl+a+" (I have prefix ctrl+a), and I'm not able
to resize the panes using ctrl+a + ctrl+up/down/left/right arrows. This
works without a problem under X11. I'm using urxvt client.

Instead of resizing panes, the cursor is switching between the panes,
the same behavior if I'm not pressing the ctrl key, so the shortcut is
ctrl+a + up/down/left/right arrows.

I also tried to use the meta key, and it works in urxvt, but when I
switch to the virtual console, it is ignored too.

Maybe it's because of my system settings, but I have no idea what to
look for. I'm using debian testing. Below is the vesion of tmux and
kernel I use:

$ apt-cache policy tmux
tmux:
  Installed: 1.8-5
  Candidate: 1.8-5
  Version table:
 *** 1.8-5 0
        900 http://ftp.pl.debian.org/debian/ testing/main amd64 Packages
        500 http://ftp.pl.debian.org/debian/ sid/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

$ uname -a
Linux morfikownia 3.11-2-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 3.11.10-1 (2013-12-04)
x86_64 GNU/Linux

Does anyone know what's going on?
