Hi, I hope that mentioning "gnu screen" is not a problem, but it's the easiest way to explain my situation.
If you'll start screen normally, add some windows/screens in it, and you have "sensible" status bar set you might see: depesz@h3po4 > 0$ -bash 1$ -bash 2$ -bash 3-$ -bash [4$ -bash] Now, when another client connects to the same screen, and is viewing the same window, both see in status line: depesz@h3po4 > 0$ -bash 1$ -bash 2$ -bash 3-$ -bash [4&$ -bash] (please note thet "&" character next to "4". It is possible to achieve something like this in tmux? I would love to get it to work *both* in case of attaching to the same session (so both/all clients will have the same window active), and in case when new client makes new session grouping it with pre-existing session. Any options to handle it? Best regards, depesz -- The best thing about modern society is how easy it is to avoid contact with it. http://depesz.com/
