Yeah, I have an OCD to keep my terminals mostly clear by pressing ^L.
But after a resize (e.g. reattach from a bigger screen which happens a
lot of time for me) all my panes are cluttered.

Do you have any central repo where we can drop extraneous, officially
unsupported patches to tmux? I have some others as well. I'm thinking
something like the dwm guys do at [1]. Or maybe a wiki site with links
to forked repos with short descriptions of the changes?

But in any case I'll keep compiling tmux for myself with this patch so
no worries.
