I was just wondering if I had been blocked from the list since it has been so quiet....
Kenneth and I did get the Web5250 stuff (tn5250j in a servlet generating HTML) into some rough shape a while back. I haven't had a chance to jump back into it but still plan to clean it up and make it available. It is roughly like iSeries Access for Web. That would set the stage, I think, for a Webfacing-like tool. If we can render 5250 data into HTML, then creating options that render the data into controls can't be that far behind... Still on the list. And yeah, tn5250j DOES rock. We use it on a Linux terminal server for our users and will be rolling out to the few windows users left be for they are rolled on to the LTS as well. I have a few bugs that I need to post but did not want then to fall on def ears. There are also a few outstanding bug that would be nice to have worked out here but non are show stoppers. Anyway hope things like the webfacing projects and that could get going again as that was very interesting stuff and the IBM stuff was just way to expensive for us. Wishing everyone the best.
