Hello Roy Yeah long time. Actually been of doing some really fun networking jobs so not a lot of as400 access. Not a lot of development/programming either but it has been a refreshing change. Am going off into the certification process now. It seems Europe is going the same way as the U.S. if you do not have a freakin cert in something they do not beleive you. In development field, my experience has always gotten contracts and clients but now everyone wants a cert for everything. Then it is a catch 22 when they say well just because you have a cert does not mean anything but to get in the front door you need a cert. Am trying to get my company partnered and branched out into different areas. To do this you have to have so many "CERTIFIED" employees. This "certification" crap is the biggest mess I have ever seen. We were actually not considered for a networking contract because we were not a XXXXX partner. Whether or not we could do the job or not was not even considered. Talking about pissed off. Certified people to do the work but because the company was not a XXXXX partner just bites. Well it is time to put knowledge to paper I guess. Sorry everyone will get off my soap box now as that does not have anything to do with tn5250j. It just sticks in my craw. Regards Kenneth rdg wrote: Kenneth -- Wow, good to hear from you again! Am not sure many people are still around anymore but hope not everyone has abandonded ship. Not even sure of the other emulators status's out there. I know Brian Trout still has an issue with the field exit key and will hopefully get in touch with him for more information. So Brian could you send me an e-mail so I can look at some things. Hopefully we can get that straightened out. Am sure there are other neglected issues out there so if you want give me a shout here at the list. I will have access to an AS400 for a little while so maybe I can get some issues worked out after hours at this client. They use the emulator themselves so have given me leave to do some fixes and the such against their system. I have not been actively developing on the emulator because of access issues. Well actually because of no access to an as400 environment :-) Have been off in the networking field for quite a while with cisco routers, switches and the such lately so no real development work of any kind. Anyway just wanted to let you guys know I am still around so drop by and say hello. Hopefully we can get re aquainted. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by Yahoo. Introducing Yahoo!
