Maybe what he says is true, but if you start hacking the GUI class to inject you own user credentials, you do worse then structuring not the best OO code. Why doesn't he just use the SessionBeans class and wrap it up in his own JFrame to webstart that one?
We have a project under way next weeks that has to do exactly what that guy is talking about.
