I have to check uploading for large files. Do you use ssl for that? Especially the gnutls-part of tntnet used in debian had buggy timeout handling. I reworked it some time ago. It is fixed in 1.6.2. And the 1.5.3 has problems on multicore servers. You should consider upgrading. Does the upload problem happen on slow connections? Or also on local network connections? It may be a bug in timeout handling. This socket failed error message is actually quite normal. I changed that to a debug message in later versions. It happens e.g. when the network connection to the client is lost, when the user closes his browser. I don't think it has to do anything with the upload problem. But it still may have to do with the problem. The iterator thing looks just wrong. I will check that also.
