Nice to hear, that you like tntnet:-) Tntnet is really more or less normal application, where you can really do whatever you need to do. So starting threads is really ok. Of course you need to take care, what happens to the thread after it ends. But that is always the case when you write multithreaded stuff. If you use the trunk version of tntnet you may want to look at sdk/demos/backgroundjob. We implemented a facility, where you can start asyncrounous actions from a web application without blocking the actual request. Tntnet takes care of the threading stuff then.
