yes - me too. The syntax of ecpp is borrowed from HTML::Mason, which is a perl based template engine as you might know. There is a library pcre, which implements perl compatible regular expressions in c, which can be integrated into tntnet but I feel, that the additional dependency is not worth for such a minor feature. I think, that the POSIX regular expressions are good enough.
